Stargazing Live - Thursday 21st January 6 pm

Exploring Mars with the Curiosity Rover, Dr John Bridges, Space Research Centre, University of Leicester

Our next Open Observatory event is a Stargazing Live special and will take place on Thursday 21st January from 6 pm. We are very pleased to welcome Professor John Bridges from the Space Research Centre at the University of Leicester who will be joining us as our guest speaker for the evening. Professor Bridges is one of the few scientists based in the UK to be working with data obtained from the Mars Curiosity rover. He will be giving a fascinating talk on what it’s like to be part of the mission team and will give us an update on what has been discovered on Mars so far.
